Recrute Action Inc. strives to meet the needs of employees and clients with disabilities and works actively to remove and prevent barriers to accessibility.
Our company is committed to complying with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). This plan outlines the steps we are taking to meet legislative requirements and improve opportunities for people with disabilities.
As other provinces develop their own accessibility legislation, Recrute Action Inc. will ensure that our initiatives meet or exceed requirements in every location where we operate.
We apply an inclusion-first approach, guided by a clear vision and supported by policies, practices, and consistent communication. We are committed to continual improvement through an ongoing cycle of evaluation and adaptation.
Inclusion is fully integrated into every aspect of our operations, internal and external relationships, and corporate culture. Recrute Action Inc. will strive to identify and remove all barriers to inclusion.
We promote employment diversity in all its forms. Employment-related decisions—including recruitment, hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and all other terms of employment—are made without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, age, ancestry, or place of origin.
Our goal is to maintain a workforce that reflects the communities we serve. We ensure that our policies, procedures, and practices are free from intentional or systemic barriers.
Our Human Resources team has developed a three-year strategy to build on our current accessibility achievements. This plan enhances training, improves access to information, and strengthens our commitment through concrete actions.
The following outlines our commitments and measures for accessibility.
We are committed to providing accessible customer service to people with disabilities, with the same quality, courtesy, and timeliness as for any other individual.
We are committed to ensuring that our information and communications are accessible to individuals with disabilities, whether digital, printed, or verbal.
We practice fair and accessible hiring. All job postings will indicate that accommodations are available. During the hiring process, applicants may indicate their needs, and appropriate adjustments will be made.
Employees are entitled to a fully accessible work environment. We collaborate with our teams to ensure they have the tools and support necessary for success.
We provide training on the requirements of the AODA and the Ontario Human Rights Code, specifically regarding the rights of persons with disabilities.
We are committed to ensuring that all our workplaces are accessible. Accessibility will be prioritized in all renovations or acquisitions of new office spaces. We also conduct annual physical inspections to assess compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
We have procedures in place to prevent service disruptions in accessible areas. When interruptions occur, alternative solutions will be implemented.
