Recruit Action Inc. strives to meet the needs of its employees and customers with
disabilities, and actively works to eliminate and prevent barriers to
accessibility.
Our company is committed to meeting the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). This plan outlines the measures we have put in place to comply with the legislation and improve opportunities for people with disabilities.
As other provinces adopt their own accessibility legislation, Recruit Action Inc. will ensure that its actions meet or exceed legal requirements in each jurisdiction where it operates.
We implement an inclusive approach, guided by a clear vision andvsupported by consistent policies, practices and communication. We are committed to continuously improving our processes through a cycle of evaluation and ongoing transformation.
Inclusion will be integrated into all facets of our operations, our internal and external relationships, and our corporate culture. Recrut Action Inc. will strive to identify and eliminate any barriers to inclusion.
Our company supports diversity in employment in all its dimensions. Decisions regarding recruitment, hiring, compensation, promotion, training or any other condition of employment are made without regard to race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, age, ancestry or origin.
We aim for a workforce that is representative of the communities in which we operate. We ensure that all our policies, procedures and practices are barrier-free – whether intentional or systemic.
Our Human Resources department has undertaken the development of a three-year strategy aimed at building on existing achievements. This strategy aims to enhance training, improve access to information and strengthen organizational commitment through concrete actions.
The plan below sets out our accessibility commitments and measures.
We are committed to providing equitable service to people with disabilities, with the same quality, courtesy and speed as any other person.
We will ensure that all our communications – whether digital, printed or spoken – are accessible to people with disabilities.
Our hiring practices are fair and accessible. All job offers include a statement about possible accommodations. During the hiring process, candidates can indicate their specific needs, and adjustments will be made as required.
Employees are entitled to an accessible working environment. We actively collaborate with our teams to ensure they have all the support they need to succeed.
We provide training on the requirements of the AODA and the Ontario Human Rights Code, including the rights of people with disabilities.
We are committed to making all our workplaces accessible. When renovating or acquiring new offices, accessibility is integrated right from the design stage. An annual audit is also carried out to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
We have procedures in place to prevent service interruptions in accessible areas. In the event of interruption, replacement measures will be implemented.
